Ghost Mode

When you activate the “Ghost Mode” on your GBWhatsApp, your actions will be invisible to everyone. Your last seen will freeze. When someone sends you a message, it will seem like you are not online. Even if you open their message, only a single tick will appear to them. You can also view their status secretly. Even when you click the “Status Seen Icon,” it will not be marked as seen.

When you reply to the message in ghost mode, the sender will see blue ticks directly. There will be no grey double ticks. This feature combines the “hide view status” and the “blue ticks after reply” feature but in a slightly advanced manner.

See Message Edit History

Option To Show/Hide Ghost Mode Icon

The UI/UX of the latest update has changed. When you update your GBWhatsApp to version 17.60, you saw a ghost icon on the topbar instead of the Night/Light icon. This icon is for turning the ghost mode on or off. 

If you do not like this icon, you can remove it. For this purpose, you need to follow the following steps:

• Click the three dots from the top right corner of the home screen. A dropdown list will appear.
• Now, click the “GBSettings,” and the settings screen will appear.
• From the settings screen, click the “Home Screen” option. There will open a new screen.
• Click the “Header Option”. A new screen will open where all header controls will be available.
• You can turn on or off the Ghost Mode icon and other header icons from that screen. The control to turn the Night/Light icon on or off is also there. You can also play with that.

Option To Show Night/Light Icon On Home

In the previous version of GBWhatsApp, the Night/Light icon was permanently on the home screen’s header. The version of the app allows you to hide or show this icon as per your choice. You can follow the same process as the Show/Hide ghost mode icon to hide or display this icon.

Custom Media Download Control For Each Chat

There is a media download control option in WhatsApp’s settings. You avoid displaying media files on your gallery by using this feature. When you set it to hide media files on the device’s gallery, no media file appears in the gallery for all chats.

This feature is handy in the case of group chats or some annoying contact chats. When you want to view specific media files on your gallery, and due to this feature, they don’t. This feature irritates users at that point. The latest version of GBWhatsApp offers you the solution to this problem.

WhatsApp old UI Style

The home screen UI style was changed in the previous update. You did not have the controls to set the old style. Now, you can select the old UI for your home screen. You can follow the same process you did for the Sow/Hide ghost mode icon for the home screen’s UI.

This setting is also available there in the header style’s controls screen. You can find this option in the name “Home UI Style.” By utilizing that, you can control the UI of the home screen.
